Christina Randle | Founder and Principal

Named Dallas' Most Organized Person by D Magazine, Christina is a living testament that her organizational methodologies work as well in practice as on paper. Since 1986 she has been developing and delivering productivity coaching and training programs for a variety of clients including Dell, Intuit, PepsiCo., and numerous other Fortune 500 companies. Her custom-designed seminars positively impact her clients' efficiency, effectiveness and bottom-line results. Her business and organizational skills, coupled with her experience in personal and transformational development, add a motivational and inspirational quality to The Effective Edge programs.

A skilled professional with masters level studies in both psychology and philosophy, Christina has expertise in the areas of human resources, organizational and workplace design, training programs, and marketing.  She participates as a member of her Church board, Impact Austin and a graduate of Leadership Austin (class 2004-5).

She balances her active business life through involvement in community service, developing seminars, and the pursuit of cycling and yoga. Christina resides in Austin with her husband George, and their three children. Christina never waivers from the belief "It really is possible to have it all," a way of life she bestows to all her program participants.

Robertt Young | Senior Facilitator

Robertt brings to The Effective Edge over 20 years of experience as a productivity coach, trainer and facilitator of -- interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills and stress management processes and programs. He draws from an eclectic background of time management, innovation and creativity, interpersonal communications, organizational development, facilitated dialogue processes, and Eastern philosophy.

He has coached and facilitated Effective Edge programs for such diverse clients as: AGL Resources, Bank of America, Cox Communications, Deutsche Banc – London, Greyhound Lines, Harley-Davidson, Ingersoll Rand Security and Safety - Canada, InterContinental Hotels Group, Miller Brewing Company, GMAC Financial, Oakland University, Pratt Miller Engineering, Pulte Homes, Siemens, and Sony Electronics.

His purpose is to provide clients with the tools, processes and skills that bring increased work life balance, focus, personal satisfaction and freedom from stress. This allows for more creativity and increased productivity in all aspects of life.

Robertt enjoys an active life in balance and harmony through daily exercise, meditation and having great fun! Robertt recently moved from Santa Cruz, CA in order to be an integral member of our Effective Edge Team here in Austin.

Kristi Ann Willis | Senior Facilitator and Writer

For almost two decades, Kristi has excelled as a communicator with technical and non-technical audiences.  Working with Effective Edge clients like Fidelity Investments, Frito-Lay, 24 Hour Fitness, Invensys Process Systems, H-E-B, W.L. Gore & Associates, and 7-Eleven, she helps executives and professionals reshape how they think about their work and lives.  Kristi's accessible and friendly style helps her diverse clients embrace the new tools and techniques with ease.

 

As a writer, Kristi leads our product development efforts, creating new courses and opportunities for more professionals to Get the EDGE!  She also supports the team's efforts in writing the monthly newsletter, marketing materials, speeches and books.

 

Outside of work, Kristi relaxes through cooking, daily exercise, and meditation.  She is also a dedicated community volunteer, giving her time to the Capital Area Food Bank. 

 

 

 

 

Russell Tibbits

Russell Tibbits | Business Development

Russell Tibbits joined The Effective Edge team initially in August of 2000, although he made Austin his home in late April 2006. 

 

Russell brings a passion for learning and a keen marketing savvy to The Effective Edge as he focuses on business development and furthering product development for our existing and future customers. 

 

While sports came naturally to Russell, school and study habits did not.  Russell has learned good work skills and methodologies that have allowed him to excel through trial, error and persistence.  Russell carried a 3.4 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) to his May 2002 graduation.  Russell has learned early to balance life, appreciating time for social activities, taking good care of himself by working out daily, continuing organized sports, as well as dedicating equal time to working and relaxing.  Russell holds the view that healthy people are those that have variety in their life and balance their work lives with home lives.

 

Russell graduated from Spring Hill College in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communications.

Kim Brewster

Kim Brewster | Office Coordinator

Kim brings 20 years of experience in office management to The Effective Edge.  She has worked with entrepreneurs, upper level executives, physicians and academicians in the fields of real estate, medicine and fitness.  She owned and operated a fitness studio in the Austin area, leading others to discover the mind/body benefits of health through yoga, proper diet and meditation.

She finds the mission of The Effective Edge team—inspiring people by giving them the tools to take their lives back and awaken possibility—what she strives to deliver in her yoga teaching. 

Kim lives and thrives in Austin with her husband, Steve, and their children, Cameron and Laura, and two cats.  When away from the office, she finds joy in taking care of her family, teaching yoga, taking yoga classes, vegetarian cooking and reading.

Kirk Miller

Kirk Miller | Facilitator and Business Development

Kirk brings to The Effective Edge over 18 years of sales and productivity experience.  Having worked inside Fortune 500 companies like Dell and American Express, as well as Janus Funds and Banc One, Kirk understands firsthand the challenges facing individuals in today's corporate workforce.  Kirk has served in a variety of roles including sales, management, team leadership, facilitation and training.  As an avid student of productivity and personal development for almost two decades, Kirk provides a unique, front line perspective on work/ life balance and managing information overload.

Kirk bring a fresh approach to his classes, combining his background as an actor with his studies in theology, personal growth and productivity.  Kirk studied at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in California as well as spending several years in theology and religious studies.  Kirk has also spent time in Europe, Hawaii and the Philippines to gain a broader perspective on the world.  Having spent several years as a student of Karate, Tang Soo Do and Tukong Martial Arts, Kirk seeks a zen approach to life and holds the philosophy that simplicity is key.

Kirk balances his busy training schedule with a full life that includes time for his creative pursuits, such as acting, writing and reading.  Kirk was most recently seen in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical CATS as Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat.  Kirk also enjoys participating in a variety of fitness activities such as triathlons and running and cycling with his wife Lisa.  Kirk enjoys life with his wife and two daughter, Morgan and Mary-Catherine.

Angela Ware | Facilitator and Curriculum Development

Angela brings to The Effective Edge team over 15 years of management and professional training experience, as well as a decade of life learning as a civil mediator and professional development coach.  As a trainer, Angela has traveled extensively throughout the United States and German.  Her personable style as a trainer allows her to build relationships quickly in an effort to understand the needs and work strategy of her clients to enhance their knowledge base for continued professional and personal success.

Angela's approach to training parallels her approach to embracing the diversity of life.  "If we can find our common ground, we can find our true selves.  If we can diminish the fears that bring about misunderstanding and resistance, we can build and rebuild the greater purpose ordanied upon our lives."

To preserve harmony in life Angela makes time to incorporate music, meditation and physical exercise into her daily routine.  But her greatest harmony is attributed to her loving family.

Diane Holz | Bookkeeper/Accounting

Diane spent the majority of her career as the Vice President for the Better Business Bureau, Inc. and worked with many diverse businesses - from mom and pop shops to large corporations.  That career taught her the core values of ethics, integrity, honesty, and customer satisfaction – all of which she finds embedded deep within The Effective Edge.

Diane manages the accounting functions for The Effective Edge, Inc. She is a native Austinite and enjoys the outdoors, especially any water activities.  She lives in a country setting with her husband Wayne – and has two grown children, Nathan and Chad.
