Always aware of the current corporate climate, Christina continually refines her programs for today's challenges. She's coached executives and key professionals for over two decades at Fortune 500 companies like Dell, Intuit, and PepsiCo.

A renowned productivity expert with master's degrees in psychology and philosophy, Christina published Getting It Together: Gaining the Thriving Professional's Effective Edge in 2007. Her accomplishments show the success of her methods: in 1999 she was named Dallas' Most Organized Person by D Magazine.

Christina and her family live in Austin, TX. An active member of her Church board, Impact Austin and her local community as well as a graduate of Leadership Austin, Christina embraces the work-life balance she promotes, finding time for family, cycling and community service.

Robertt brings to The Effective Edge over 20 years of experience as a productivity coach, trainer and facilitator of -- interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills and stress management processes and programs. He draws from an eclectic background of time management, innovation and creativity, interpersonal communications, organizational development, facilitated dialogue processes, and Eastern philosophy.

He has coached and facilitated Effective Edge programs for such diverse clients as: AGL Resources, Bank of America, Continental Corporation, Cox Communications, Deutsche Banc – London, Emerson Process Management, Life Technologies, Pepsi Cola Asia, Pratt Miller Engineering, Pulte Homes, Siemens, Sony Electronics, Texas Department of Family Protective Services and Time Warner Cable.

His purpose is to provide clients with the tools, processes and skills that bring increased work life balance, focus, personal satisfaction and freedom from stress. This allows for more creativity and increased productivity in all aspects of life.

Robertt enjoys an active life in balance and harmony through daily exercise, meditation and having great fun! Robertt lives in Austin,TX with his wife Ju.

Kristi Ann Willis | Productivity Specialist, Product Development

For almost two decades, Kristi has excelled as a communicator with technical and non-technical audiences.  Working with Effective Edge clients like Fidelity Investments, Frito-Lay, Invensys, H-E-B, W.L. Gore & Associates, and Harris Stratex, she helps executives and professionals reshape how they think about their work and lives.  Kristi's accessible and friendly style helps her diverse clients embrace the new tools and techniques with ease.

As the Training Quality lead, Kristi works with our training team around the globe to ensure that we are always delivering our best for our clients.  She helps incorporate their feedback to improve our products and delivery techniques so that our clients can Get the EDGE with greater ease.

 

Outside of work, Kristi relaxes through cooking, daily exercise, meditation and spending time with her family.  She is the author of Austin Farm to Table (www.austinfarmtotable.com), a blog about cooking using fresh, local food from Austin's farmers markets.  She is also a dedicated community volunteer, giving her time to the Capital Area Food Bank (www.austinfoodbank.org).

Angela brings to The Effective Edge team over 15 years of management and professional training experience, as well as a decade of life learning as a civil mediator and professional development coach.  As a trainer, Angela has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Germany.  Her personable style as a trainer allows her to build relationships quickly in an effort to understand the needs and work strategy of her clients to enhance their knowledge base for continued professional and personal success.

Angela's approach to training parallels her approach to embracing the diversity of life.  "If we can find our common ground, we can find our true selves.  If we can diminish the fears that bring about misunderstanding and resistance, we can build and rebuild the greater purpose ordanied upon our lives."

To preserve harmony in life Angela makes time to incorporate music, meditation and physical exercise into her daily routine.  But her greatest harmony is attributed to her loving family.

Russell Tibbits | Business Development

Russell Tibbits joined The Effective Edge team initially in August of 2000, although he made Austin his home in late April 2006.

Russell brings a passion for learning and a keen marketing savvy to The Effective Edge as he focuses on business development and furthering product development for our existing and future customers.

While sports came naturally to Russell, school and study habits did not. Russell has learned good work skills and methodologies that have allowed him to excel through trial, error and persistence. Russell has learned early to balance life, appreciating time for social activities, taking good care of himself by working out daily, continuing organized sports, as well as dedicating equal time to working and relaxing. Russell holds the view that healthy people are those that have variety in their life and balance their work lives with home lives.

Russell graduated from Spring Hill College in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Communications.

Kim Brewster
 
 

Kim Brewster | Office Coordinator

Kim brings 20 years of experience in office management to The Effective Edge.  She has worked with entrepreneurs, senior level executives, physicians and academicians if the fields of real estate, medicine and fitness.  She has owned and operated a fitness studio in the Austin area, leading others to discover the mind/ body benefits of health through yoga, proper diet and meditation.

Kim finds the mission of the Effective Edge team- inspiring people by giving them the tools to take back their lives and awaken possibility- similar to what she strives to deliver in her yoga teaching.

Kim lives and thrives in Austin with her husband, Steve, and their children, Cameron and Laura, and two cats.  When away from the office, she finds joy in taking care of her family, teaching yoga, taking yoga classes, cooking and reading.

Diane Holz
 
 

Diane Holz | Bookkeeper/Accounting

Diane spent the majority of her career as the Vice President for the Better Business Bureau, Inc. and worked with many diverse businesses - from mom and pop shops to large corporations.  That career taught her the core values of ethics, integrity, honesty, and customer satisfaction – all of which she finds embedded deep within The Effective Edge.

Diane manages the accounting functions for The Effective Edge, Inc. She is a native Austinite and enjoys the outdoors, especially any water activities.  She lives in a country setting with her husband Wayne – and has two grown children, Nathan and Chad.

Zahra Petri | Customer Experience Coordinator

Having developed consumer and business marketing skills at school and in the corporate world, Zahra brings a zest for learning to The Effective Edge.  Graduating cum laude from St. Edward's University with a degree in International Business and a minor in Spanish, she acquired an ability to work efficiently and effectively as well as expand her desire for knowledge every day.

Growing up in Austin, Zahra enjoyed the many wonderful activities it has to offer, from outdoor events to live music shows downtown.  She loves the unique characteristics Austin portrays and how you always meet new people to make you smile no matter how your day is going.  Zahra loves spending time with friends and family and is always ready for new experiences to further her goal of simplicity and life balance.

Skip Colfax | Productivity Specialist, Curriculum Development

Skip started with The Effective Edge in January of 2009.  With him he brings nearly 20 years of experience in instructional design, course development, and training delivery.  He is also an experienced project manager, particularly for training implementation projects.  Over his career, he has contributed to the learning organizations of a wide variety of industries, such as communications, retail sales, outplacement, event planning, computer software and hardware.  He started his career as an elementary school teacher and quickly moved into corporate training where he worked with corporations like AT&T, SkyView World Media, Jack Morton Worldwide, Dell Computer Corporation, Sears Holdings, Spherion, Keller Williams Real Estate International, BMC Software, Infor and Computer Associates.

Outside of his work, Skip enjoys cooking, baking, travel and collecting 20th Century art and antiques.

Paige joined the team of trainers in January 2009.  Her passion for sharing The Effective Edge message is deeply rooted to her experience in the high-tech industry while living, working and thriving in the Austin, Texas and San Francisco Bay areas.  She has specialized in detailed customer service roles for over 10 years, including project management, corporate training and coaching.

Paige has been involved in nationwide professional development initiatives for software companies serving the elementary education industry, mortgage banking and securities markets, and local goverment and district audiences.  While taking on the challenge of learning the nuances of each of the industries, Paige embraced the opportunity to learn and put herself in the shoes of her class participants.  She takes a personal approach to leading adult learners to greater understanding and success.

Paige is a native to Austin, and finds balance in her life while dedicating time to outdoor activities, listening to live music and exercise.  She takes advantage of the travel afforded with her career to visit friends and family nationwide, and experiencing local flavor wherever she goes.  A matchbook quote travels with her always that reads, "Treat others well, and the rest will take care of itself."
